The QCC
Team consists of the following individuals….committed
to excellence in technologist education. We also strive to
provide the best resources available for technologists and
others who support the early detection of breast cancer. Our
course directors, listed below also, are among the top radiologists
in the country and champion supporters of mammography technologists
as the true specialist they ae. We feel truly privileged to
call them friends as well as colleagues.

| Dorothy McGrath, BHE |
| Dotty is the former co-coordinator of the Breast Imaging
Dept at Massachusetts General Hospital and coordinator
of Breast Health Education for Harvard Medical School.
Working with Dr. Daniel Kopans, who has served as Dotty’s
biggest mentor, inspired Dotty to create the first of
the “Team Approach” concepts in providing
continuing education to mammographers: technologists
and their radiologists…together!! She spent more
than 30 years at Mass General before leaving to take
a regional sales manager position with R2 Technology…a
product that she truly believes will change the scope
of breast cancer detection. Dotty has extensive experience
in both professional and public education; she has participated
as an instructor for the American Cancer Society, American
College of Radiology and the ASRT. Dotty has also served
on numerous national committees that have established
technologist training standards and is a much sought
after speaker known for her inspiration and motivation
she inspires in her audiences. Dotty lives in Saugus
MA with her husband Paul; she has 6 children and 2 grandchildren
all of whom live close by. |

| Louise Miller, RTRM |
| In addition to her commitment to QCC, Louise is involved
in numerous educational endeavors focused on the education
of mammographers. Since 1988 she has been the co-director
of the Mammography Practicum at the University of CA
School of Medicine in San Diego. She is also the instructor
of mammography at San Diego Mesa College. Louise has
participated as a member of volunteer teams helping
to coordinate mammography screening programs and technologist
and radiologist education in developing countries such
as the Ukraine, China and Cuba where she continues her
volunteer efforts to help re-establish their national
screening program. Louise been a guest lecturer for
such noted radiologists as Laslo Tabar, Daniel Kopans
and Edward Sickles and has also been invited to teach
for noted institutions and organizations including Harvard,
Stanford, the Mayo Clinic and the ACR National Breast
Cancer Conferences. She has also served on numerous
local, state and national committees involved in setting
standards for mammography education in this country.
In 1999 Louise co-authored the “Handbook of Mammography.”
She lives in Pine Valley, CA and has one daughter and
one grandson, who confidently live right next door! |

| Erin Miller |
| Erin became our office manager in 1998. She handles
all aspects of registrations, course inquires and payment
issues….so if you have any questions or need any
help, she is the one to call! Erin is a busy working
Mom of Alex, age 7 and divided her non-work time between
church activities, friends, family and community. |
